 Denver, Colorado--Officials from Orion Entertainment have announced that the Ultimate Fishing Lodge will premiere on the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) network at 7pm Eastern on Father's Day. The one-hour special is hosted bycountry music star Trace Adkins and follows the build of a spectacular fishing lodge located at the famed Deep Water Cay in the Bahamas. The special showcases the many elements of the lodge--outfitted in consultation with Orvis--as well as the many challenges of building on a remote island. During the build process, the team faced a hurricane and other storms, challenges in getting supplies and materials, and even in moving construction crews to the remote outpost.
"This is a dream lodge in an even dreamier location," says Orion Entertainment president Chris Dorsey. "Thanks to this program those who come to visit Deep Water will have a new appreciation for all the effort and challenges faced to create such a spectacular destination."
